With the rapid development of social economy and the increasing demand of people; shealth needs, leisure sports has welcomed more and more participants with entertainment, fitness, relaxation and other characteristics. How to cultivate high-quality leisure sports professionals to meet the needs of life has become the key problem in the teaching reform of leisure sports majors. The OBE education concept, which originated from the western education system reform in the 1980s, has been widely used in various disciplines, especially in the curriculum reform of higher education. Through questionnaire survey, on-site interview, classroom observation and other intelligent tools, taking the practical courses of leisure sports education undergraduates as the research object, this study discusses the problems of the practical courses of leisure sports education in China, and puts forward the reform path for the practical courses of leisure sports education based on the OBE concept. According to the research, the practical courses of leisure physical education majors still face some challenges in terms of curriculum system, teaching mode, teaching resources, teachers and how to meet the needs of the industry. Based on the concept of OBE, the following curriculum reform paths: improve the curriculum system and innovative curriculum design; strengthen the school-enterprise cooperation and industry connection; improve the teaching flexibility and personalization; strengthen the teaching staff and teaching resources; improve the evaluation and comprehensive ability training. We hope that the research in this paper can provide theoretical basis and practical guidance for the educational reform of leisure sports major.
