There are significant differences between Wushu and Korean Taekwondo in terms of cultural inheritance, development strategies and communication and promotion methods. Taekwondo has been successfully promoted to the world through the establishment of specialized institutions, modernization, campus communication, and film and television media, and has become the “world's No. 1 combat sport”. In contrast, wushu short soldiers are still in their infancy, and it is necessary to improve the competition rules, unify the scoring mechanism, strengthen the promotion channels, and highlight the national characteristics to promote its systematic development and international exchanges.
