This paper employs the methods of literature review and logical analysis to investigate the current situation of elderly sports service supply in urban communities in China. The study finds that improving the supply level of the sports industry is of significant value for social development, as it benefits the physical and mental health of the elderly and alleviates the pressure of social elderly care. However, there are issues such as insufficient supply in the elderly sports industry, weak professional organizations, a lack of scientific and systematic top-level design, and a weak foundation for the development of the elderly sports industry, with imperfect mechanisms. Suggestions include: constructing a comprehensive sports industry information supply mechanism to enhance the effectiveness of the industry; transforming government functions to increase the marketability of the industry; strengthening diversified sports industry supply to enrich the industry; and leveraging the role of elderly sports associations to improve the standardization of the industry.
