Education is an important way to realize the sense of community for the Chinese nation. The adaptability and scientific nature of the educational content system are an important foundation for the effective output of strengthening the sense of community for the Chinese nation. Experiential education takes students as the main body of learning, and students participate in or be placed in a certain situation in person. This research aims to summarize the research hot spots in the field of experiential education to promote the development of natural research and experiential education in China. At the same time, it is committed to predicting the research direction and concerns of experiential education in China. The significance of the research is to provide references and inspirations for relevant researchers, so as to better promote the development of experiential education in China and achieve the purpose of educating people through activities and educating people through the environment. The research method uses CiteSpace 6.2 software to analyze keywords, research institutions, and research hot spots of experiential education during 2017-2024, and draw a visualized knowledge graph. The research results show that the overall number of research on experiential education in China from 2017 to 2024 shows an upward trend. However, the distribution of authors and institutions is relatively scattered and not concentrated, which may limit the diversity of research perspectives. Research conclusion: In recent years, the research hot spots mainly focus on research travel, research tourism, rural revitalization, and the integration of culture and tourism. The field of experiential education has a large space for development.
