The development of the evaluation index system and testing method for skipping rope skills in primary and secondary schools needs to take into account the characteristics of skipping rope, age and gender differences of students, and evaluation theory. The literature review method should be used to sort out the characteristics of skipping rope sports; Through preliminary research, indicator system construction, determination of evaluation criteria, development of testing methods, and result processing and analysis, 21 sports skill indicators in three categories of skipping rope were screened. Evaluation indicators for primary (5 testing indicators), intermediate (7 testing indicators), and advanced (9 testing indicators) were established, and the weights of primary and secondary indicators were established, thus constructing an evaluation index system for skipping rope sports skills in primary and secondary schools. At the same time, a testing method for the assessment indicators of skipping rope skills in primary and secondary schools has been developed.
