In competitive competitions, taekwondo competition is a sport in which the leg method is the main method and the boxing method is the auxiliary method. Taekwondo athletes mostly use horizontal kick technique in competitions. In terms of attack speed and strength, the horizontal kick technique has great advantages. The players all use the horizontal kick technique as their main leg method. In order to better analyze the technical application characteristics and existing problems of excellent female taekwondo athletes at the present stage, this paper uses the methods of literature review, video observation and mathematical statistics to study the technical analysis of Zhou Zeqi, an excellent taekwondo athlete from Beijing Sports University, in the fourth leg of the 2018 National Taekwondo Championship series and the championship finals. The results show that high-level technique is Zhou Zeqi's main scoring technique, and high-difficulty movements and turning movements did not appear in 7 matches. The horizontal kick technique is the technique with the highest utilization rate, but the success rate is not high. Boxing technique appeared less frequently and failed in 7 matches. Zhou Zeqi's defensive technique has the highest utilization rate of pace and the success rate of leg destruction is the best.
