• This paper introduces the main types of railway engineering geology, expounds the commonly used technical methods in railway geological survey, and enumerates the geological exploration methods of magmatic rock, deep metamorphic rock, sedimentary rock, shallow metamorphic rock, loose sedimentary layer and other areas, so as to improve the efficiency and quality of engineering geological exploration.
