Abstract: 回顾中华民族发展的历史进程，似乎从未重视过个性解放问题，因为在新文化运动以前，中国思想家没有提出过“个性”或“个性解放”的概念。但是，打开尘封的中国历代思想典籍，我们会发现其中也涵盖过大量关于个性解放的思想观点。
Looking back at the historical process of the development of the Chinese nation, it seems that the liberation of individuality has never been emphasized, because before the new culture movement, Chinese thinkers did not put forward the concept of "individuality" or "individuality liberation". However, when we open the dusty books of Chinese thought, we will find that they also contain a large number of ideas about the liberation of personality.
