Integrating Ideological and Political Elements into the Coherent Design of the “Three Educational Practices” of the Major of Psychology Teacher Education —Taking the Cultivation of a Sound Personality as an Example
“Three Educational Practices” as the practical courses serve the dual purpose of cultivating pre-service teachers’ professional abilities and skills in mental health education, as well as shaping their professional identity and qualities as teachers. They play crucial roles in supporting the goal of cultivating pre-service teachers’ specialized in mental health education, and also serve as a practical platform for Foster a well-rounded personality among preservice teachers. As the integration of ideological and political elements into the ‘three practices’ of the major of psychology teacher education has been made progress. However, there is an urgent need for deeper exploration and breakthroughs in terms of the coverage of ideological and political content, the integration’s coherence, and its progressive nature. This paper draws on existing research findings and combines them with practical work in the ‘Three Educational Practices’ , using the ‘Foster a well-rounded personality’ element as an example, to propose a comprehensive design approach for integrating ideological and political elements into the ‘Three Educational Practices’ of the major of psychology education.
