The first instance judgment of the Jiang Ge case introduced the moral dimension into thelegal method, and used the interpretation method accepted by the doctrine to reach a plan in line withthe public opinion. Network public opinion has two characteristics of "moral consciousness" and "nonprofessional",so it also has advantages and disadvantages on judicial judgment. From the perspective ofmorality, it promotes the integration of "law" and "emotion" in judgment to realize substantive justice;"Non-professional" people put enormous pressure on judicial decisions. By introducing the cost-benefitanalysis method of law and economics, this paper compares the influence of Chinese judicial organson judicial adjudication in cases such as Jiang Ge case and Yao Jiaxin case, which triggered widespreadInternet public opinion, with the ways of public opinion regulation of the US Supreme Court when facingrulings contrary to public opinion, explores the root causes of the influence of Internet public opinion onChinese judiciary, and puts forward solutions.
