With the deepening of education reform in China, ideological andpolitical education work in colleges and universities has been further pointedout the direction, and relevant ideological and political textbooks have beendesigned for students learning different languages. From the perspective ofGerman language learners, this paper expounds the close relationship betweenthe featured textbook Understanding Contemporary China and the senior coursetextbook Advanced German to put forward practical and feasible theories toguide the integration of the two textbook.
