Causes and Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency from the Perspective of Social Control Theory —Take the Case of Five Teenagers who Killed and Split Their Bodies in Hangzhou as an Example
Social control theory, which focuses on juvenile delinquency, arguesthat the causes of juvenile delinquency are the result of a weak connectionbetween the individual and society in the process of their socialization, and theabsence of the four elements of their own attachment, devotion, involvementand belief. Based on the social control theory, the case of the five teenagers whokilled and split their bodies in Hangzhou is a profound analysis of the causes ofjuvenile delinquency, and the corresponding effective measures are proposed tocontrol and prevent juveniles from committing delinquent acts in response tothe causes of delinquency.
