The development of core values throughout curriculum is a new
direction of educational reform in China universities. However, there still has
many obstacles on the way of curriculum reform due to inadequate ideological
knowledge base of teaching teams, and the separation of professional courses
and core values courses in construction of finance and accounting major. It’s the
first step for colleges and universities to make clear the goals and requirements
of their own educational reform. Then, they should revise training programs,
speed up construction of teaching teams, explore core elements in teaching
contents, and establish an effective assessment system.
