In recent years, the refugee issue has been a hot topic in German
society, and the German film industry has explored this issue in depth and
produced a number of refugee films in various forms. The article focuses
on the conflicts between refugees and indigenous people in German society
as shown in the German refugee films, and examines the reflections on the
refugee identity issue as reflected in these films in the light of identity theory.
Through this window of art and reality, the film explores the current situation
and solutions to the refugee identity problem, and considers the ways in which
refugees and host countries can get along with each other in the context of the
refugee crisis in Germany today.
