• Abstract: 承担着社会和家庭双重角色的女性，其个人价值的自我实现会遭遇比男性更多的困难和挫折，这几乎是不争的事实，甚至会以牺牲家庭角色为代价。思考生于不同时代，令人钦佩的两位女性建筑大师的奋斗历程，不难看出她们的经历既是身为女性实现人生价值不易的确凿写照，也是对未来社会应给予女性更多公正和善待的警示，同时也给以如何实现自我价值的明确启示。女性自我实现无疑来自两性平等的接受良好教育的机会，及同样平等的拓展职业生涯的机会，而平等机会的获得首先基于家庭对教育的高度认知，其次是个人的不断争取和努力。
• It is obviously true that women encounter more difficulties and frustrations than men in order to make their self-actualization come true due to bearing double roles of shouldering domestic and social responsibilities. In some cases, they have to sacrifice family life for self-actualization. Considering the self-actualization or life pursuit of Julia Morgan and Zaha Hadid, two worldfamous admirable female architects born in different ages, the observers may find their experiences both reflect the hardship of women’s self-actualization and warn the society of being fair and kind to women, meanwhile enlightening people how to actualize self-worth. It is the equal opportunity of delivering good education to women that may to the greatest extent result in women’s self-actualization, including the fair opportunity of earning working career. In the process of acquiring fair education and career growth, there are two indispensable factors: domestic awareness of education and personal diligence and hard working.
