Charity is an important part of social security. During the fight
against new corona pneumonia in 2020, charitable organizations received
unprecedented attention and received many times more donations than
usual, reflecting the potential of charitable organizations in dealing with
public health emergencies. However, it also exposed the fact that charitable
organizations were obviously lack of experience in dealing with such major
public health emergencies. Therefore, charitable organizations should continue
to strengthen their own institutional mechanisms to respond to major public
health emergencies that may arise in the future, clarify the relationship between
charitable organizations and governments in public health emergencies, so that
all parties can give full play to their joint efforts.
