In order to have a more comprehensive and systematic understanding of the research status of analysis and evaluation of foreign language textbooks in China, understand its research process and research hotspots, and look forward to its future research direction, this paper combines bibliometric and literature analysis to search, analyze and sort out the relevant literature about analysis and evaluation of foreign language textbooks published on CNKI. From the perspective of realizing, understanding and using textbooks, this paper provides references for the analysis and evaluation of foreign language textbooks in the future. The current analysis and evaluation research of foreign language textbooks in China has attracted the attention of scholars. Referring to the four levels of foreign language textbook analysis and evaluation research, the methods of literature review, questionnaire survey, interview, comparison and quantitative analysis are adopted to analyze and evaluate foreign language textbooks from static entities to dynamic compilation and use of textbooks, and some achievements have been obtained. Based on the excellent achievements and advanced experience of the analysis and evaluation of foreign language textbooks in China in the past 20 years, it is an important direction for the analysis and evaluation of foreign language textbooks in China in the future to develop research perspectives, innovate research methods, analyze and evaluate textbooks integrally, systematically, and hierarchically, to select high-quality textbooks with effectiveness, reliability, feasibility and good effect.
