The group of elderly caregivers is a general term for the service personnel who take care of the elderly, including the traditional sense of caregivers, nannies, domestic aunts and elderly caregivers and other people who are engaged in elderly care in a broad sense. As China's aging phenomenon intensifies and the elderly population continues to increase, there is a growing demand for elderly caregivers in society. This paper examines the current situation of elderly care in China by compiling the literature, understanding the current situation of caregivers in some provinces and cities, exploring the common reasons for this, and reviewing the current situation of elderly care in China, and reviewing the occupational status of the elderly caregiver group from several aspects, expecting to provide a reference basis for research on the elderly caregiver group.
