8004 plain texts of marathon keywords were collected using python web crawler technology to analyze the interactive hot content of marathon race culture from semantics and sentiment. The results of the study show that three hot contexts of the marathon can be found from the semantic network results, which are the medical intervention of the event, the participation of celebrities in the event, and the participation feelings of the runners. The text of the sentiment analysis results showed a large proportion of positive emotions, followed by neutral emotions, and the smallest proportion of negative emotions. Interactive hotspots that the current event venue facilities culture, information dissemination culture with innovative and developmental characteristics, but the development of the event’s peripheral products need to be improved, the public’s discussion of the marathon’s management system, the participation system, the rules of the competition presents emotional, positive and professional characteristics, the public’s understanding of the spiritual dimension of the event shows the characteristics of the development trend of positive energy of unity, resilience, and camaraderie. It is suggested that in the publicity segment of the event can be strengthened to the event mascot, logo and other visual cultural products of the publicity work; to promote the popularity of the Special Administrative Region Marathon digital track, especially the track facilities to the health of the participants of the monitoring technology; to improve the marathon participation in the lottery mechanism, the event officials try their best to guide the positive discussion of the race system of the network public opinion.
