In order to accelerate the development of campus equestrian, this paper uses literature, logical analysis, interview and other research methods to take Wuhan campus equestrian as the research object, deeply analyzes the realistic difficulties in the development process, and puts forward the strategies to accelerate the development of campus equestrian. According to the research, the value of carrying out campus equestrian in Wuhan lies in inheriting equestrian culture and telling equestrian stories well. Enrich the course content to meet the needs of students; Stimulate students’ interest and cultivate reserve talents. At the same time, there are the following practical difficulties in the development process: insufficient supply of equestrian venues, lack of guarantee of resources; The shortage of equestrian teachers on campus and the construction of teachers need to be strengthened; The concept of “homeschool- community” co-education is different, and the concept of equestrian education is different; Poor security management system, multiple security threats; Supervision by competent departments is out of place, and schoolenterprise cooperation lacks guarantee. Based on this, it is proposed to establish a resource sharing mechanism to alleviate the shortage of site facilities; Promote multi-resource integration and strengthen the construction of teaching staff; Change the concept of “family, school and community” co-education, strengthen the equestrian sports awareness; Multi-party participants work together to build a security system; Establish a unified supervision system and promote the organic linkage between schools and communities.
