The ideological and political education of physical education courses is the education and teaching reform carried out to implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating socialist builders and successors who develop morally, intellectually, physically, aesthetic and labor. This paper uses the literature data method and the logical analysis method to study the connotation, value, content, characteristics, existing problems and realization path of the physical education courses in China in the past 6 years. The results show that many research results have been made in ideological and political research in physical education courses in China, but there are still some problems, such as the research method is single, homogeneous content, less interdisciplinary research, lack of empirical research, and less operable research results.
