Under the background of education information technology in the new era, adhering to the teaching concept of “student-centered” and based on the theory of social environment’s influence on learning, learning theory, motivation theory, etc., the cooperative learning application sports hybrid teaching design is innovated. Experimental results show that the five elements of cooperative learning in physical education: classroom learning objectives, individual responsibility, group formation and interpersonal communication, group self-evaluation and inter-group competition can effectively connect online and offline learning in physical education courses, and significantly improve students’ sports skills and theoretical achievements. Under the guidance of action research methodology, we strive to apply the “wisdom”, “skill” and “efficiency” of sports mixed learning in cooperative learning.
