Using the literature method and SWOT analysis method to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and threats of school sports under the “double reduction” policy, the research results show that the development of school sports has sufficient attention, certain capital investment and guarantee of the youth training market, but at the same time, there are also the disadvantages of lack of sports quality education concept, mechanization of physical education curriculum mode, insufficient allocation of sports-related infrastructure, “mixed” sports training market and lack of collaborative governance ability of “home-school society”. Although there are opportunities for the successive reform of the physical education examination and the vigorous promotion of the new crown epidemic, there are also threats such as insufficient quality of physical education courses, difficult implementation of curriculum integration processes, and the lack of joint models of intramural physical education courses and off-campus physical education training.
