中国教育服务出口的市场特征、 比较优势及提升对策

The Market Characteristics, Comparative Advantages and Promotion Countermeasures of China’s Education Service Export

  • 摘要: 随着我国综合国力的迅速提升,我国教育服务贸易进入新的发展阶段。文章使用2006—2018 年来华留学生面板数据分析了中国教育服务在不同出口市场的发展特征,使用RCA 指数分析了中国教育服务出口的比较优势状况,并使用联合密度分布分析了12 年来比较优势的变化情况。结果发现我国的教育服务出口存在明显不足:出口效率整体偏低,不同类型出口市场差异明显,出口竞争优势提升缓慢以及高等教育质量缺乏竞争力等。针对这些问题提出了明确不同出口类型提升目标,树立出口市场意识以及提高我国教育服务发展质量的对策。
  • With the rapid improvement of China’s comprehensive national strength, China’s education service trade has entered a new stage of development. This paper analyzes the development characteristics of China’s education services in different export markets by using the panel data of foreign students in China from 2006 to 2018. Then, the paper calculates the comparative advantages of China’s education service exports in different markets with the RCA index and uses the joint density distribution to analyze the changes of comparative advantages over the past 12 years. The results show that China’s education service export has obvious deficiencies: such as low export efficiency, obvious differences between different export markets, slow improvement of export competitive advantage and lack of competitiveness in higher education quality. In view of the problems, this paper puts forward the countermeasures to clarify the promotion objectives of different export types, establish export market awareness and improve the quality of China’s higher education service development.
