Objective: to introduce the methods and clinical value of interventional
treatment of uterine bleeding after obstetrics and gynecology. Methods: 12 cases of
postoperative uterine bleeding were diagnosed by uterine arteriography and bilateral
uterine artery embolization was performed with gelfoam and spring coil, and the
therapeutic effect was observed. Results: immediate hemostasis was achieved in 12
patients with bleeding, and serum gonadotropin (d-hcg) levels returned to normal
after 3d infusion of methotrexate (MAX) in 2 patients with cervical pregnancy.
Conclusion: it is a simple and reliable method to treat intrauterine hemorrhage by
uterine artery embolization.
