Critical thinking refers to rational and reflective thinking for deciding
what to believe or do, which is one of the core skills that medical graduates
should possess. Critical thinking contributes to the overall development of
medical students, is a component of information literacy, and is required by the
nature of medical discipline, new medical model and cultivation of innovative
talents. In the reform of the new curriculum system of medical clinical specialty,
we should strengthen the new concept of taking students’ overall development
as the foundation, pay attention to training teachers’ critical thinking,
strengthen PBL case teaching and innovate evaluation system to cultivate
medical students’ critical thinking ability.
