Geographical and sociological concepts such as mobility and mobility have graduallyinfiltrated into media studies, and presented a “hybridization” situation. By sorting out the translationresults of “mobile or fluid”, organizing the connotations of its “paradigm”, and discovering itsconnection with the study of materiality in communication studies, this paper provides an insight intothe integration of the post-disciplinary “new mobility paradigm” into the media studies. We analyze the“New Mobility Paradigm” as a post-disciplinary convergence study, hoping to discover the relevanceand applicability of the New Mobility Paradigm in communication studies.
