Based on the theory of planned behavior and using planned behavior as a mediatingvariable, this paper constructs a structural equation model by means of a questionnaire to investigatethe factors influencing the behavior of individuals on H. pylori screening by new media exposure andtheir interaction mechanisms. The study shows that the factors influencing the occurrence of healthbehaviors are multifaceted, and individual attitudes, subjective norms and perceived behavioral controlare significant factors influencing behaviors, reflecting that promoting individuals’ health behaviors forH. pylori screening requires both internal and external factors to actively promote people to engage inhealth behaviors.
