In the era of Media Convergence, the traditional teaching concept model and method of
journalism and communication education has created a certain distance from the media ecological
environment of today’s society. This problem is especially prominent in the teaching mode of network
and new media majors that takes practice as the standard. In the context promoting the construction of
new liberal arts, this paper explains the teaching mode and problems of network and new media majors
through specific cases, and tries to provide feasible paths to explore and methodological guidelines for
the teaching mode and innovation of network and new media majors with feasible experience cases as
reference.
