With the advent of globalization and the rapid development of computer network technology, the communication between people is getting closer and closer. At the same time, crime is also adapting to the requirements of the times, gradually going abroad to show an international and networked trend, and correspondingly cyber crime poses a lot of challenges to public security work. In cybercrime investigation, electronic data forensics plays a central role. At present, China mainly adopts two ways of criminal justice assistance and unilateral evidence collection using information technology in the field of cross-border electronic evidence collection, but in the actual application process, both measures will bring certain drawbacks. This paper analyzes the cross-border electronic evidence collection systems in China and abroad, identifies some remaining problems in these systems, and makes suggestions on improving China's cross-border electronic evidence collection system on this basis.
