Family education constitutes the initial stage of education, and is a fundamental project for shaping talents. Legislating family education not only highlights the importance attached to the fine tradition of family education, but also provides legal safeguards to promote the healthy growth and comprehensive development of minors. Promoting the legislation of family education is a new challenge to the work of family education in this era. Taking the practice of family education in the second middle school of Licheng District in Jinan City as a case study, this paper analyzes the current development status of family education, reveals the problems of family education in Jinan City in terms of the main body, teacher strength and support system, and puts forward corresponding measures and strategies to solve these problems.
