The rise of the Internet of Things and the wide application of
electronic products have solved many originally complicated problems, but
it has aggravated the data gap between different groups. As an increasingly
prominent problem, the data gap can not be ignored in real life. In the digital
age, the elderly groups are often overlooked by big data. How to protect the
basic rights of the vulnerable groups of the elderly, help the elderly groups in
China overcome the digital divide and make digital technology benefit the
public is both a practical and a theoretical problem.
